Demand stiff disciplinary action against officer who killed family pet

ON 23/12/2014 POLICE CALLED OUT TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, UPON ARRIVING HOUSEOWNER TOLD SAPS TO WAIT UNTIL DOG'S WERE PUT AWAY. WHILST BEING PUT AWAY THE POLICE ENTERED INTO PROPERTY, SHOOTING AND KILLING DOG IN FRONT OF WITNESSES INCLUDING TWINS OF 3YRS OLD THAT HAD JUST BEEN PLAYING WITH THE DOG. THE POLICE THEN RAN LIKE SCARED CHICKEN TO THEIR CAR AND SPED OF. THIS IS TYPICAL ACT OF SCARED POLICE OFFICER THAT SHOULD NOT EVEN HAVE A WATER PISTOL IN HIS POSSESSION
The family as well as other's who were witness to such a barbaric act are traumatised with the twins telling their mother "ma hulle het vir Lucky dood gemaak" (ma they killed Lucky) "ma die polisie het Lucky geskiet" (ma the police killed Lucky) this from a 3yr old, poor, poor kids
What punishment would fit this crime? because that is what it is!
What about the mental anquish to the family seeing their beloved pet, shot execution style, by people supposed to uphold the law?
What if this was a human? Would they have also run away? oh yes actions speak they would have

We the signers and cosigners of this petition want URGENT and DRASTIC ACTION to be handed out to the two officers who took part in the senseless killing of a very lovable pet and family member. As you might be aware a pet is like familyto those that have pets and this act of violence and cowardice of the two officers is, and, should not be allowed.What if this happened to be a child, incidently the same dog "LUCKY" was playing with a set of twin sisters aged 3yrs old not more than 2 meters away.

The police officers in this case walked of with a slap on the wrist and a warning. That's it NO oyher recourse for the owners ...................
