Forbid the sale of junk food and sugary drinks using food stamps in Illinois

Childhood obesity and other health problems are currently an epidemic all across the country. However children from low income families are most prone to suffer from obesity and other health issues. One reason is because it is easy to them to spend their food stamp benefits on high colorie, low nutrition, processed foods instead of healthier choices. If we can forbid the sale of junk food when using state aid, then I believe we can curb this trend of childhood obesity and other health related diseases.
