Ontario's legislature regarding the province wide ban of Pit bulls is discriminatory, ignorant, vague, and insulting to all those responsible dog and pet owners who must never have had their rights to own any canine companion taken away. It is a slippery slope once we allow the powers that be to bully its citizens with fear mongering propaganda regarding a harmless breed whose strongest asset is nothing but loyalty and an eagerness to please. McGuinty's Liberal government has proven this as we are now under its iron fist which is eager to break into your home and take what is rightfully yours just because it has similar characteristics as a Pit Bull. That's right, your dog doesn't even have to be a Pit Bull, just similar physical attributes, and the provincial government reserves to right to seize and euthanize your four legged friend. The Liberal party of Canada has ignored the overwhelming support to lift the ban, not to mention a strong political opposition in Parliament. This disrespect must be met with a clear, strong, supported message that we Ontarian's are tired of pointing the finger at a helpless animal whose only downfall was being raised by a malicious human.
