Stop Butterfly Farming for Commercial Marketing Now!
Help put an end to cruel butterfly farming for profit! This cruel act forces butterflies to be put through a cooling process to simulate hibernation causing temporary immobilization. Then the butterflies are individually hand packaged into a flat mailing envelope and then placed one by one together in a delivery box! During this process, some die and others are injured or made too weak to fly once they reach their destination. The long process of breeding and shipping butterflies is extremely stressful, and depletes the beautiful creatures' immune systems. Once in flight many are disoriented and weak, causing death shortly after their release.
During the farming process much inbreeding occurs, causing the rise of disease and parasites which can easily be passed on to natural habitat butterflies.
