Tell Louisiana that peoples pets are not to be taken over by animal control at will

Two dogs were removed from my car, windows down dogs had just been water and feed. They were in a car in the shade with a breeze from the river. The rescued chiweenie has separation anxiety, she cries when left with out a human. Her son has never sent a night not sleeping in bed. A animal control officer removed them in their pet carrier. It was Friday at 3:03 pm a note was left on my window saying pets are not allowed to be unattended. The pets send most of their time in Tx., I assure you they will NEVER travel to Louisiana again. I called animal but they close at 3pm not open till Monday. It was March 16, 2018 cool spring day, but because the state cares nothing of Citizen's rights this animal control person remove these animals from my car windows were so far down they could easily unlock the door and remove the animals. What type of sick person takes a persons animals at 3:03 pm knowing they cant be retrieved until Monday morning.
We spent the weekend without our "kids" wondering if they were ok. Monday morning our pets were ransomed for their release $185.
I was born raised in Louisiana spent most of my life here. I m so ashamed that law makers think so little of the rights of its citizens and the rights of our pets. I remember that they talked about this but I thought they were saying animals abused, and left to suffer, not animals with windows down and in their carrier with their favorite things to chew on.
I want to see if law makers are concerned enough to do something about this gross Injustice.
I not pleased to live with what we defeated in WWII, Nazis, Gestapo who cared nothing of human rights and dignity. It just a way to separate the Common Man from his wallet. Shame on the state of Louisiana, are you that desperate for funds that you would use animals as hostages.
I thinking of moving to a state that knows abouts the rights of its citizens.
