Justice for Papa Mallard

I’m writing this petition because what happened to “Papa Mallard” should never happen without accountability.

Papa Mallard was intentionally struck by a black crossover-style vehicle while protecting and leading his family. Instead of stopping to help, the driver left him to die, leaving behind a grieving mate and ducklings that depended on him.

This petition is about more than one duck—it’s about compassion, responsibility, and the belief that no living creature should be treated as if its life doesn’t matter. When acts of cruelty or reckless behavior go unaddressed, it sends the message that they are acceptable. They are not.
