Jackson Heights Must Have a Recreation Center

Gang prevention among the youth is an important issue because youth "gangs" are becoming more organized and more violent. They're being pressured to join a gang for promises such as drugs, developing a sense of identity and a promise of a "family". We've seen incidents right here in Jackson Heights that's been alarming and becoming common.

Therefore Jackson Heights needs a recreation center with service referrals. It would provide a safe place where children can go after school instead of being on the streets. By signing this petition you're working to bring awareness and help change children lives.
