On January 7, 2026,
Immigrations and Enforcement (ICE) officers shot and killed an unarmed observer during one of their many raids of terror in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is gut wrenching and terrifying, and we will not be silent.

On that Wednesday morning,
ICE agents were conducting yet another one of their horrific, dehumanizing raids in a Minneapolis neighborhood -- approximately
1,400 people have been taken from Minneapolis by these agents since early December.
According to witness footage, there were many observers out that day -- worried, angry neighbors doing everything in their power to warn possible targets of ICE's presence.
One such neighbor,
Renee Nicole Good, was in her vehicle. ICE agents told her to move her vehicle repeatedly as they approached her driver's side window. One agent tried to open her locked door.
Then, Renee tries to leave; you can see her vehicle reverse, and then her tires move in the direction all the way away from officers as she moves forward, trying to get around them. Then, one of the agents points his weapon into Renee's car. He is feet away from her.
And as Renee drives away he fires once. And again. And again. Directly at Renee's head. Renee's vehicle can be seen crashing not far down the block. Neighbors can be heard screaming.
One bystander was a medical professional, and begged to be allowed to help Renee -- but officers refused to let him attend to her.When an ambulance finally arrived, it couldn't get to Renee because ICE vehicles were in the way. Officers carried Renee's limp, lifeless body down the block where she was loaded into the ambulance -- far too late to be helped.An unarmed civilian was shot and killed by ICE agents as she was attempting to follow their order to clear the area. Read that again. Local officials, including the Minneapolis Mayor, are calling this what it is -- an attack worthy of an exhaustive investigation. Mayor Jacob Frey also added
"To ICE, get the f--- out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here."Frey is among many local officials across the country who want ICE out of their cities, where they are continuing to
stir up panic and violence while failing to address any real issues. ICE is forcing immigrants to live in fear, isolation, and turmoil,
kidnapping innocent people, tearing apart families, and now, apparently,
enacting violence against bystanders.
Of course, the Department of Homeland Security is already making excuses for these agents, claiming the shooting was in self defense.
But we see the footage, and we know that is not the truth.This shooting must be investigated as murder, and all of the officers involved must be arrested and charged accordingly.We're calling on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to investigate this shooting and hold the officers who killed Renee Nicole Good accountable.
