PETITION TO DEMAND THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF LIAM RAMOS

We the undersigned, demand the immediate release of Liam Ramos who is currently being held in a United States detention center.

Liam Ramos's continued detention constitutes arbitrary detention and violates fundamental human rights, including the right to liberty and due process, as protected under international law, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

No Individual should be deprived of their freedom without due process or held indefinitely without justification. Such practices are unlawful, inhumane, and unacceptable in any society that claims to uphold the rule of law.

we call on:
The Government of the United States to immediately release Liam Ramos; and
The Government of Ecuador under President Daniel Noboa, to fulfil its legal and moral obligation to protect its Citizen and publicly demand his release without delay.

Silence in the face of injustice is complicity.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
