Millions of innocent bully bread dogs are put down by no fault of there own. Media has put a monster face on a loving breed. Pit bull families are finding themselves unable to find homes or insurance because of this. This needs to stop. If a dog, no matter the breed, proves itself to be violent then it should be put down. If an animal, no matter the breed, proves to be nonviolent it should be given the same opportunities as any other dog. If a renter chooses to be pet friendly than they cannot discriminate based on breed. They will be allowed to put any animal through behavior testing prior to rental approval. Insurance companies would not be able to refuse coverage based on breed unless said dog has had issues in the past Animal rescues will not be able to have "breed" policies. every animal must be judged on a case by case basis.
