Wow! As you may have heard, Trump banned CNN, MSNow and Politico from the White House because he didn't like their coverage. Well, the major networks just responded massively, announcing they will complety suspend their pooled coverage of Trump until he reverses the ban:
"Major television networks agreed to suspend their pooled coverage of President Trump after the White House refused to allow CNN to serve as a pool representative on Monday.The move is an extraordinary escalation of the Trump administration's ongoin g showdown with the White House press corps, in the wake of the president's move to bar journalists at CNN, MS NOW and Politico from entering the White House grounds. Those three outlets said on Monday they would sue to regain access."
This a big deal, since this doesn't just mean he will be off these specifc stations, he may well go without television coverage across the board, since other stations get their TV footage from these networks.
"Five networks — ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News and NBC — have long shared the responsibility of providing television coverage of presidential events, splitting the financial costs and distributing footage that is carried by news organizations worldwide. The networks perform their duties on a rotation, and CNN had been slated to provide coverage for Mr. Trump's travel on Monday to the United Nations General Assembly."
So all that TV coverage that trump loves so much will pretty much disappear, or be reduced to whatever shakey video of Trump Natalie Harp can record on her iphone, while jumping up and down and screaming "Trump rules!!!!" over and over again.
Don't pick fights with people who buy their ink in barrels, or their bytes in teras.
