13 Reasons Why should NOT be canceled

13 Reasons Why teaches you that it’s okay to have depression and anxiety. It’s also tells you that your feelings are normal and that it’s never to late to ask for help. At the end of every show they give you a suicide hotline number and they give you the website. It teaches you how people handle being bullied and that it’s NEVER okay to be bullied. It shows you that no matter where you come from people do have your back and that you can make it through the difficult times in your life. Yes, it did show vulgar scenes and it did show Hannah Baker commuting suicide in the bathtub BUT that’s not the only show on Netflix or any other TV show that showed terrible scences. Other shows do show rape, murders, talks about suicide, etc but some of those shows never got canceled. If you looked past all of that this show is about teenagers who sticks together after being bullied or raped. It shows the love and compassion that this world should have. Bullying is NEVER okay. This show talks about EXACTLY what can or does go on in schools. Please do not let this show end just because you can’t stand stand a few scenes or whatever the reason may be. I believe this show can help people and it’s also bringing awareness about suicide and how it can affect your life and the people around you’s life. It shows what goes through a persons head during or after that time. We all need to be aware because it’s happening more everyday.
