On Monday October 3rd the Westhill Board of Education instructed Jennie Smarelli to either submit her resignation as Athletic Director of WHS/Vice Principal of OHMS as of June 30th or she will be terminated on that date.
By signing this petition you are telling the BOE they are NOT acting in the best interest of our school, the students or the community with this decision!

This letter respectfully requests you to reverse your instruction given to Jennie Smarelli to submitt her resignation as Westhill High School Athletic Director/Vice Principal of OHMS by June 30, 2017 or be terminated on that date.
You were elected and trusted to make decisions that are in the best interest of our school, students and community. The attached petition has been signed by over 700 people who are now questioning that trust because they do not feel your decision is in their best interest. There are not just names on this petition. There are also many, many comments from people who support Jennie and her performance as Athletic Director and Vice Principal in our school district. You need to take the time to go through this petition and read these comments.
As members of this community we have a right for our voices to be heard. After the many people who will be speaking tonight in support of Jennie Smarelli and the presentation of this petition, we want to be very clear to the members of this board that WE DO NOT agree with the decision to terminate her!
