Our infrastructure – much of it built in the 1950's and 60's – is getting old. Roads are riddled with potholes and bridges are crumbling. Water systems are failing to deliver safe drinking water. Our electric grids are becoming less reliable and vulnerable to attack.

We need modern 21st century infrastructure. Instead, the Trump administration has proposed an infrastructure plan that's scam; a giveway to private companies that saddles communities with astronomical costs.

Trump's plan will NOT result in good jobs or better infrastructure – instead, it is literally highway robbery. Our public assets will be privatized and taxpayers will face rising costs through fees and tolls. This plan would also be a massive handout to hedge funds and an environmental catastrophe that leaves behind the serious needs of too many communities – schools, hospitals, and affordable housing.

Infrastructure is what binds this country together. Roads, transit systems, and broadband keep our economy going; electric grids and water systems power our everyday lives. We can't allow this administration to give away our public assets.
