Help Seniors Not Have to Choose Between Food and Medicine

Many seniors in central and western Oklahoma have to make a terrible choice between eating and buying medicine.

But YOU can help change that!

At the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, we are rallying together caring people in the community to ensure that seniors can get both the food and medicine they need. 



Every dollar helps provide food for seniors in need. And of course, every one of those dollars stays right here in our community to help people like Roy.

After his service in the U.S. Navy, life got tough for Roy. He had health and financial problems, and spent several years living on the streets. Last fall, the VA helped him get an apartment, but he still has trouble getting enough to eat every month.

"If it wasn't for the Regional Food Bank," Roy says, "I'd have to dumpster-dive, or stand on a corner holding a sign. I've done that before. I'm glad I don't have to now."

Senior hunger can't be solved overnight. We must all join together to keep making a difference — day by day and meal by meal.
