Protect Poverty-Fighting Programs in Next Year's Budget

In the next 2 weeks, Congress could make devastating cuts to poverty-fighting programs that are saving lives and lifting millions out of poverty in the developing world. We need to let our representatives know that this is unacceptable.

The truth is that this funding really is making a huge difference helping families grow their own food and mothers access vaccines for their kids. Essential US investments have helped put 6 million people on AIDS drugs since 2002 and have helped avert 5.4 million child deaths, all for less than 1% of the budget.

Let's tell our representatives that now is not the time to cut poverty-fighting programs that we know work.
