Stop the cruelty and ill treatment of poddy calves.

It seems that for the past 200 years our dairy farmers have been taking calves away from their mothers forcefully.  They transport them to places with no food and are left to die.  If they survive the 30 hours without food they are slaughtered. 
This is so we can have fresh milk and eat veal.  They need the cows to have calves so that they can produce milk. 
I know we have to have milk but WHY can't we treat these poor animals more humanely.  Maybe a day in a paddock with food and water. 
I urge you to sign this petition so that we can make our disgust known.  Australia is no better than the third world countries that also abuse animals.
