Add Your Name: No lead in Texas schools!

Every child deserves clean drinking water. But today, 70% of Texas schools tested have dangerous levels of lead in their water.

What is even worse is that our elected officials knew about the problem but decided to do nothing.Last legislative session, a bill was introduced to address the problem but it died in committee.

We need to hold our elected officials accountable to fix this problem immediately.

As a proud Texan, we need to do better for every child in this state. Texas lawmakers should take immediate action to ensure complete transparency to make sure every school is tested, the results are public and dangerous levels of lead are addressed wherever they are found.
