On January 12, 2010, Google announced that it would end self-censorship in China after several incidences of human rights activist e-mail accounts being hacked. It is suspected that these accounts were attacked by government officials. Google is contemplating shutting down business completely with China.

Take action by signing this petition: Encourage Google to stick to their commitment of having high standards of business conduct and to set an example that money is not more important than free speech and other personal liberties.
Dear Google Executives,

I am writing in support of your potential decision to stop doing business with China. As a company committed to "the highest possible standards of ethical business conduct," and a mantra of "Don't be evil," I encourage you to support human rights and democracy activists and stay true to your Code of Conduct.
