Cameron: Stop Making Life Harder for Single Mums in Need

UK Prime Minister David Cameron is fond of saying "we are all in this together."
But his policies have forced half a million children below the poverty line, added financial distress to 2.5 million working mums, and hindered single-income families. The wealthy, however, have received a hearty tax cut.
Are working women and mums really worth sacrificing so Cameron's government can soften the blow of its economic missteps?
Cameron's child benefit cuts impact 4.6 million women, Many of these families make ends meet with one middle class income -- and rely on benefits. Families with just one income of £60,000 and over will lose their child benefit completely. Families with an income of £50,000 and over will partially lose their child benefit. The remaining cuts affect low-income new mothers.
Tell Cameron that hurting women in need is bad politics. Demand he reverse these outrageous child benefit cuts.
Dear Prime Minister David Cameron,
I'm appalled at the cold-hearted child benefit cut your government enacted. Forcing women to bear the brunt of benefit cuts while the rich receive a tax break just doesn't make sense.
The Institute of Economic Affairs claims this new women-lose tax plan is "probably the single most incompetent change to the benefits system since the second world war". Depriving 4.6 million women--including 2.5 million working mums of their child benefit is outrageous.
Low-income women and women at home with small children often don't have any financial breathing room as it is. You argue that family salaries of £50,000 and £60,000 need to pitch in -- but why should entire families living off of one middle class salary be disadvantaged while the rich receive tax cuts?

Two thirds of the people affected by your new benefit cuts are women. Don't make women pay the price of the UKs economic hurdles.
Sincerely,
