No Discrimination in Houston: Vote Yes on Prop 1

Last year, Houstonians came together to support a city ordinance that protected all hardworking people in our city from being discriminated against because of who they are or whom they love.

That ordinance — the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance, or HERO — sends the important message that we are a modern, welcoming city whose diversity is our greatest strength.

Sadly, HERO is now under attack by those who oppose protecting Houstonians — including LGBT people — from discrimination in our city.

We need supporters of HERO to vote "Yes" on Proposition 1 this November to uphold this critical ordinance and protect everyone in Houston from discrimination.

Ultimately, this is about treating our fellow Houstonians as we would like to be treated — and no hardworking person should have to live in constant fear of losing their home or their livelihood.
