Keep our children safe on Belmar blvd/CR 18

Those of us who reside on or near Belmar blvd/CR 18 in Wall Township know the most direct route to the beach lies within footsteps of our home. The dangers of walking, running or biking on this road are enormous. We would not think about walking, running or riding a bike with our children on this road because it just isn't safe. I am proposing a bike lane along both east bound and west bound sides of Belmar Blvd (also known as County Rd 18) from Monmouth blvd that would connect with the side walks east of rt 35. The purpose of these lanes would be to provide safe travel for both bicycles, walkers and runners along Belmar blvd and over rt 35.
