End Indigenous Disadvantage in Australia

In some parts of Australia 70% of Indigenous children don't regularly attend school and three times as many adults are unemployed. Indigenous Australians deserve the same opportunities as their non-Indigenous countrymen. We must end this massive, unjust disparity.

Some Australians -- governments, businesses, NGOs and community organisations -- are already helping to end the disparity with education that prepares Indigenous people for life, training for specific, guaranteed jobs and mentoring that leads to employment that lasts. Now we need all Australians to join the movement to end Indigenous disadvantage in this generation.

There is a mood for change across Australia among those tired of seeing so many citizens lack the resources to learn and become successful.

We can achieve equality in one generation -- this generation -- but only if all Australians come together to raise awareness and join the movement. Pledge to get involved and help end Indigenous disadvantage.
