Conservatives Must Stop Leaving Our Veterans Out in the Cold

Severely disabled soldiers are not properly taken care of by the current Conservative government. Many veterans do not have the benefits they need. They don't have sufficient income to retire, and they don't have adequate support for transitioning into civilian careers.

A report from the Veterans Ombudsman reveals that more than 400 of Canada's most severely disabled veterans do not even qualify for a Canadian Forces Pension. By making simple changes to pension eligibility, Stephen Harper could fix many of these problems.
