The Trump administration is one step closer to approving seismic airgun blasting off the U.S. East Coast. Tens of thousands of whales, dolphins and other marine wildlife could suffer injury, and our coastal communities will be at risk, if the administration continues to move forward.

Dangerous seismic airgun blasting is one of the first steps to locating oil and gas below the ocean floor -- seismic airguns repeatedly fire intense blasts through the water column, creating one of the loudest manmade sounds in the ocean.

This loud and dangerous process for finding oil and gas below the ocean surface could injure as many as 138,000 dolphins and whales, while disturbing millions more.
