Demand the Lakeway Swim Center kids pool stay open for longer during the day and more months of the year!!! This is Texas Ya'll!!!

Currently the Lakeway kids pool opens late May and closes when the children return to school mid August. That's approximately 12 weeks at most. The temperature in our area will continue to be 90 degrees plus through October. During the weeks the kids pool is open the hours are limited, with the pool opening at noon. In addition to the limited open hours/weeks the cost for membership seems hefty for such a small window for use. Our families deserve the opportunity to use the facility for more than 12 weeks of the year. The Swim center chooses to use high schoolers as life guards; hence their rationale for only opening during school summer vacation. But this is 2017 and there are other options available to the City of Lakeway. Open Our Pool!!!!!
