Join the fight: Defend net neutrality and save the internet!

Now that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has submitted the "Restoring Internet Freedom Order" (i.e. net neutrality repeal) to Congress and published it in the Federal Register, which happened on February 22 – we only have 60 days to fight back to stop internet providers like Verizon and Comcast from being able to control what we see and do online.

On December 14, Trump's FCC voted to overturn net neutrality. This critical safeguard, which passed in 2015, prevented internet providers from blocking, speeding up, or even giving priority to websites that paid for prioritization – essentially creating "fast lanes" for sites that pay, and slow lanes for everyone else.

Senator Ed Markey (D-MA), joined by every democrat, and Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), have introduced a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to stop the FCC and save net neutrality. But we only have 60 days to voice our support and save the internet as we know it.

Using the CRA, Congress can undo any regulation that an agency (like the FCC) has recently finalized by passing a "resolution of disapproval." Since Trump took over, the CRA has been used to repeal 14 Obama Administration regulations. Now, we're demanding Congress turn the tables and use the CRA to uphold net neutrality rules!

We only need one more cosponsor (we're at 50, and need at least 51) in the Senate to win the vote, and our movement is holding Republicans' feet to the fire.

Add your name to join the movement for a legislative solution to net neutrality and save the internet!
