Keep ALL US history in US History Classes!!!

Recently Rebecca Garland, the Cheif Academic Officer for North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and NCDPI announced its intentions to remove history before 1877 being taught in US History classes in North Carolina. She says "They certainly are taught U.S. and North Carolina history in middle school." It is already bad enough that the history most students in North Carolina will learn will not inclue the Progressive Era and the errors of the Roosevelt and Wilson Administrations. Now, all high schools will now be forced to eliminate the most important parts of our country's history all because a group of elitists and Progressives demand that "updates" be made.
Please join me by signing this petition in demanding that all of our country's history be taught in all high schools throughout North Carolina. Without knowing history, we can not predict the future. This is what happens when Progressives get ahold of our education: erase history and change it to reflect their views. I want others to know that it was not Rutherford B. Hayes who founded this country. I want them to know of our four fathers who died to create the country that is now the greatest country on Earth: The United States of America. Join me and let your voice be heard! You are the student and you should be properly educated!
