Support more habitat for Yellowstone's wild bison!

Yellowstone's iconic bison are one of the last free-roaming wild bison herds left in North America. In the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, these bison are treated more like livestock than wildlife. They are not given unlimited room to roam outside of Yellowstone National park and their numbers are primarily managed with an annual mass slaughter.

We want to support bison migration throughout their natural habitat. Please sign our petition and demand more land be made available outside of Yellowstone for free-roaming bison!

Thousands of bison that attempt to leave the park in search of grass and calving grounds are often hazed back in by ATVs, helicopters, and state agents on horseback. Since the mid-1980's over 11,000 wild Yellowstone bison have been rounded up and sent to taxpayer-funded slaughter. This is no way to treat our National Mammal.

Wild bison should be managed as just that – wildlife – like all other native wildlife are managed today in Montana. Help us by signing the petition to show your support for migrating bison!
