Tell Your New Hampshire State Legislators: Support Death with Dignity Legislation

In 2019 twenty state legislatures considered death with dignity legislation (New Jersey and Maine passed it). Not New Hampshire.

A death with dignity law would allow qualified, terminally ill adult state residents to obtain a prescription from their physician for medications to end their life peacefully, in a dignified way, at the place and time of their choosing. The bill would establish stringent procedures and tough safeguards that have been proven safe and effective in providing peace of mind and control for the terminally ill.

In several other states, including Oregon and Vermont, similar laws have safely and effectively given terminally ill people more freedom, control, and peace of mind at the end of life.

Take action today: Urge your New Hampshire lawmakers to support death with dignity legislation.
