The U.S. is a major contributor to the decline of this species as a significant importer of giraffe parts and trophies. The Trump administration can help stop giraffe decline by protecting them under the Endangered Species Act — but they've refused, so NRDC and our partners are fighting in federal court to force them to act.
Inaction is a death sentence for this majestic species.
