Food Expiration Discount Act

Every year billions of pounds of food goes to waste. The Food Expiration Discount Act will ensure this will no longer be the case.

1) All food items are to be sold at half price (50% off) 2 days before the expiration date posted on them.
2) All food items are to be sold at 1/3 (66% off) the marked price 1 day before the expiration date posted on them.
3) All food items are to be sold at 1/4 (75% off) marked price the day of expiration.
4) All food items are to be given for free to the hungry or to charities that feed the hungry for free the day after the posted expiration date.
