Abuse of the 340B hospital markup program is driving up health care costs for patients, employers and taxpayers. This program has grown into the second-largest federal prescription drug program, and without action, 340B will continue to raise costs for us all while large, tax-exempt hospitals, PBMs and big chain pharmacies boost their bottom lines.
