Loews: Please be kinder and more humane to the cats at your hotels! We will boycott Loews until they are more humane and kind to the cats!

I have read some of an article about the trapping of cats 🐱 at Loews hotels in Florida, USA. Although Loews have been trying to paint themselves as "animal-friendly", what they are doing to the poor feral cats breaks that.
They want to remove the cats 🐱 from the hotels, and have a "pest" control company involved, who set traps to catch them. These are not necessarily designed to cause physical injury or death but, after the cats are caught, they are not being checked or removed swiftly, they don't cover the traps with blankets or anything, which can lessen the anxiety of cats in cages and the cats aren't being fed. They may be trapped for hours. Loews have even un-compassionately banned anyone from feeding them, with employees risking risking disciplinary action or even losing their jobs for feeding the cats.
Imagine that you are a feral cat at Loews. You have been living at Loews for a long time, it has become your home territory. You used to be fed by kind humans at the hotel, but they have stopped feeding you and you can't understand why. You sometimes go hungry for hours. You need to feed your family as well. Then, tempted in by some food, you enter a cage. The door shuts and you can't get out. You are terrified and anxious. It's really hot. You yowl, but no one comes to feed you or let you out. You might even injure yourself trying to get out. You don't know what to do.
Now, imagine that you are a kind and compassionate employee of Loews. You come into work one day to hear it announced that you are no longer allowed to feed the cats, which is something that made you feel good and feel like you were making a difference. You are working or eating and you hear the cats yowling and crying because they are hungry. You perhaps even see one looking at you hopefully, expecting to be fed. You have to tell them "no". You have to not feed them. You have to hear them yowling, and this pulls on your heart. You feel so sad and anxious about the cats because you love animals and care a lot about these cats. You might even come across one of the cages. You hear a cat yowling inside. It's very hot. You know that, if you try to let the cat out, you could face disciplinary action or even lose your job - the job that you rely on to feed, care for and buy for yourself and your family (perhaps, including nonhumans), to pay the rent for the home that you depend on to not end up homeless, to pay costs and to pay for education - if you let the cat out. You might not even be able to undo it to let them out. You have to go home, anxious, sad and upset about the cats. You perhaps even have trouble sleeping because of anxiety about the cats. You try to persuade your boss to let you feed and care for the cats and to stop the cruel trapping, or to use humane solutions, but they either don't listen, yell at you, tell you off or just don't do anything to change things.
All because of a company's heartless decision, when they could have removed the cats kindly or, perhaps, let them stay. A group called Alley Cat Allies proposed to help Leows deal with the cats humanely, but they still went ahead with cruel plans.
Please, please, please stop the inhumane trapping and remove the cats kindly, ensuring that their wellbeing is a big priority and looking after them or use a humane approach in which the cats are trapped humanely, spayed/neutered and vaccinated and then returned, and notices are put uo asking people not to stroke or handle them or allow their kids to. Also, please, please, please allow tourists and employees to feed the cats and put up notices advising people on how and what to feed, with the advice and help of Alley Cat Allies and/or another rescue/advocacy group that deals with cats 🐱. We will boycott Loews and encourage others to do so too, until they become more humane and kind to these cats and all other sentient beings. Please also send polite and kind emails, phone calls, letters and/or other messages to Leows. Let's bombard them!
