Stand Up for Our Vets: End the VA Disability Backlog

272 days. That's how long it takes for the average veteran's disability claim to be processed - but many veterans wait for over a year.

Our military men and women make immense sacrifices to protect our country, the least we can do is make sure their disability claims are taken care of in a timely manner.

That's why Congressman Bill Enyart recently introduced the Veterans Backlog Reduction Act, to reduce the backlog of claims as well as to ensure that veterans receive provisional benefits while they're waiting for a decision.

Almost a million disability claims are currently waiting to be processed - that's far too many. We're not honoring our commitment to care for our veterans when we make them wait months or years to start receiving disability benefits.
