Palin - Apologize to Teachers
In a recent confrontation with an Alaskan who was hanging a sign that said, "Worst Governor Ever," Sarah Palin asked the woman what her profession was. When the woman said she was a teacher, Palin looked at her daughter and her advisor and proceeded to roll her eyes, as if in pity for the woman.
After facebook and other websites exploded with criticism, Palin responded by simply denying that she even behaved that way. When a behavior is documented on video, it seems that the least Palin could have done would be explain her reaction.
Sign this petition asking Sarah Palin to explain her reaction to the woman's job as a teacher, and apologize for offending teachers across the country.
Dear Sarah Palin,
There has been a lot of talk about the video of you and the Alaskan woman who was hanging the "Worst Governor Ever" sign. I was disappointed with your response, and this is why I am writing.
In the video, it is clear that your reaction to her telling you she is a teacher was inappropriate. What your motives were for that reaction, I am unsure. But I am writing to request that you apologize to the teachers you offended in the process, and to explain your reaction to the American public.
