We demand that The City Of Greater Geelong revert back to the acknowledgement of January 26 as Australia Day

We the undersigned demand that the City od Greater Geelong revert back to the acknowledgement of Australia Day as the 26tyh of January  believe that the public consultation process conducted by COGG in relation to the decision to no longer Acknowledge Australia Day was flawed and pretty much restricted to a have your say page and a consultation with local indigenous folk.
Australia Day means much to many of us and we do not believe that COGG has the right to decide for all, us that we (the citizen of Geelong) will no longer acknowledge same. A proper survey of all citizens of Geelong must be conducted and the will of the people shown
