LAUSD Reformation of Ethics/ "0" Tolerance for Sex Abuse Offenders and Failure To Rep
We the undersigned, call on the State Of California, the California Board of Education and Los Angeles Unified School District to pass a New Code of Ethics and "0" Tolerance Policy for all Sex Abuse Offenders, that more restrictive measures are put on those whose job it is to protect our children.
In addition, we propose that further background checks be made on all Teachers and Administrators, by an independent agency other than the District, to ensure that they meet the qualifications to have children in their care.
Finally, the following Mandatory Sentences should be applied for any Teacher/Administrator found guilty of abusing a child:
*Immediate Termination of Employment and the revocation of Teaching Credentials; Restriction from ever teaching or working with children or where children are taught or cared for; for serious injury to child, minimum of 10 years jail sentence, with no chance of parole; 25 year to life jail sentence for injury to a child that results in the death of the child, with no chance for parole.
For those Administrators found guilty of failing to report such incidents, we ask for the following:
*Immediate Termination of Employment and 10 years Probation; The completion of Community Service in a facility where abused children are treated.
CALL FOR THE REFORMATION LAUSD, NEW CODE OF ETHICS & 0 TOLERANCE FOR SEX AND CHILD ABUSE!
It is up to us as parents, students and community to demand these changes are made. This abuse and disregard for the safety of our children has gone far enough. Unite with us as we breakground for reformation of our School District. For our children today and future. Every change has a beginning, don't let them silience us with their brief two sentenced letters and statements. We have the human right to demand the safety of our children.
