Shield street lights and stop light pollution

Brookfield Residential has installed street lights in Rooney Valley (Lakewood, Colorado) with no side shielding. Lack of shielding results in light pollution onto private property (inside homes!) and open space. Our taxes fund this light pollution and all the negative impacts that come with it. Mayor Bob Murphy and City of Lakewood staff deny that any light pollution occurs OR that there are any negative impacts of light pollution. 
It will get worse as these street lights will soon cover the entire Rooney Valley development. We must stand together and demand that street lights are shielded to stop light pollution.
