Stop scaring our children with violence on TV

When I was a child, I remember being terrified about a television show that showed someone being tarred and feathered.  My fear of the dark was debilitating.  I was watching my beautiful 4-year-old granddaughter the other day.  She was watching TV in the bedroom and kept running out of the room looking scared.  She said the commercial was scaring her.  I saw that the commercial was for the Incredible Hulk movie.  We are not aware of the fear that we instill in our children through movies we consider cartoons.  I want these type of commercials be removed from children's channels.  The amount of violence on TV have made our children numb to violence.  This needs to be stopped.  Stop the violence and stop scaring our children.  Experts say that children under the age of 2 should not watch any television because they cannot decipher between what is real and what is not.
