STRICTER CHILD ABUSE LAWS

After much research on child abuse cases, I'm extremely sickened by the slap on the wrist too many offenders get as punishment. Check out the cases of Peter Connelly, Kaleb Lay and Brianna Lopez. Sorry to say, there are caseworkers and judges that act in a very heedless way.  They should open their eyes to the simple fact that reuniting families isn't always the best solution. The sad story on baby Peter is from the U.K.. I question their concerns over child protection just as I do children's protection in our country.
Where, oh where is the government?  Can you believe the audacity of lawmakers?  So many in our society are quick to look away and pretend it doesn't happen...this doesn't say much for our society.  Although I'm aware that we do have lawmakers that  feel as strongly about this problem...strict sentences should be mandatory for any that abuse children. I'm not talking discipline, I'm talking about actual child abuses. All three children I mentioned died as a result of child abuse. So...the courts had no doubt in the scum who willingly did this...so...why did they not receive the death penalty?
Maybe, with enough names, we can persuade the government to never let the abusers have their children back...including meth addicts that are supposedly okay now. I see I've only got 34 signatures...how much more do I have to add to persuade people that we do, indeed, have a problem on our hands?
This very worthy petition is now up to 44. Thanks and God bless to all who have signed so far. A special thanks to Stephanie Lytton...my heart goes out to you and your son, Evan Tucker Lytton-McFalls. I have no words to offer comfort, other than I hope you can find the strength to carry on. Stephanie, I can't begin to imagine, nor would I try, the emptiness you must be feeling right now. You have to endure the worse thing a parent could ever go through...you are in my thoughts!!!
Ever notice that the problem with the dreadfully growing child abuse cases is not making the ones in Congress pull their hair out? Is this not a disheartening reality? While some are concerned over other countries not having religious freedom and so on, the others are twiddling their thumbs looking just as important as the others who are deadset on helping the other countries. We should first fix our own country. After all, the U.S. and the U.N. are not the same.
We're up to 65 beautiful signatures. Again, God bless you all!  A big p.s....start writing to your senators about your intolerance on the child abusers' easy treatment. It might do some good if they feel their jobs are on the line.
