We would like to solicit support to paint a chess board onto the playground in a section not occupied by current games marking. Please sign the petition if you would like to participate in getting this fine tradition started!
Dear Parents and Friends,
I saw this wonderful chess board (pictured) on a visit to the Science Center for Kids in Glasgow, Scotland this summer. With a little white paint on an open area of the new "black tarmac" that went down this summer, we could create a fun board like the one shown from the science center in Glasgow, maybe using "smurf pieces" to be on the safe side :-). Please sign the petition which we wish to present to our new principal in support of this effort.
