Equal Rights for Gypsy/Traveller children in schools.

In schools, Traveller children should have the same rights at school as those from any other religion or culture.

Remove unfair regulations from the education system such as fining parents when children have time off for Travelling community festivals e.g. Appleby Horse Fair, Christenings, weddings etc.

Other religions and cultures are not disciminated against like this.

Also more needs to be done about hate crime and bullying of children who belong to these communities. Stricter rules should be put in place.

Gypsies and Travellers are human just like the rest of us and should be treated that way.
