Child Support Tracking in Michigan

When a father supply's child support for a child the mother should provide proof that the full amount is being spent on the child. As it stands now mothers can take the money and spend it on anything they wish. Often times the child hardly sees any of the child support money. In my case the mother of my child is spending the money I pay for child support on her sister, so that her sister can have a cellular phone. Mind you her sister is the age 14 and lives with her parents. This is not what I pay child support for. I want to know that my child is taken care of not that my ex's sister can have a cell phone.

There are other states that make the mothers keep track of their child's expanses, also if the money is not spent on the child it has to be deposited into a bank account for the child's future. Michigan should do this as well. Child support is meant to make sure that the child has food, shelter, clothing and any other thing that the child needs. Not for personal use for the mother. If the mother needs money then she should get a job.
