legalize marijuana in New York State

I am tired of seeing people treated as criminals when they are not one because the Government makes marijuana seem like an awful thing. The main reason why it was made illegal because people feared that they would lose their investments in the oil and paper industries because the increased use of marijuana. People should sign this because we are wasting tax payers dollars on people who are not criminals and this so called war on drugs should not involve marijuana because many of our founding fathers themselves grew marijuana for recreational use
