We "Demand an End to housing discrimination against the mentally ill and the homeless"

My son and I are victims of "Proven" housing discrimination in a court of law by a Wake County Judge, Due to this we have become Advocates for the mentally ill and also the homeless in regards to housing discrimination. My son was excluded from housing by Wake County Human Services in Raleigh, NC because he has a mental disability. This is in violation of the Fair Housing Amendment Act of 1988, the North Carolina Fair Housing Act and other laws. After the exclusion, I was stripped of the Legal Guardianship of the son, because I had no place for him to live. He was illegal for the housing as a member of a "Protected Class" by Federal laws because he has a mental disability and then excluded from housing by Wake County Human Services("WCHS") because he has a mental disability. This illegal action, by "WCHS" left him in a "Homeless" state in a crisis center for nearly 3 months and then he was placed in a bad adult care home in Durham, NC and a bad group home in Raleigh, NC. The homes are full of substantiation by the Department of Health and Human Services("DHHS") for while the Owner/Operator of the group home was violating the NC rules for licensed group home operation, her husband was raping a mentally ill woman who he was the substitute parent of who lives in one of the group homes. My son who was excluded from safe, decent and sanitary housing because he has a mental disability, has been bitten severely by bed bugs in a group home(Of the accused Rapist' wife) where bed bugs were found in every living space of the facility except the kitchen and it was infested with what looked like "German" roaches to an Exterminator. These roaches were found, "Alive" in areas were food and food supplies were found. The same group Home Owner/Operator received substantiation and an A1 "Serious Neglect" charge for this. She also failed to administer medications to my son as authorized by a medical professional. This is just a "TIP OF THE ICEBERG" as there is just so much that I can write here. After I won a motion in court for Preliminary Injunction, pending trial and "WCHS" lost their motion to dismiss. Another illegal action of "WCHS" caused the case to NOT go to trial. Because I would not settle on the terms of WCHS without the offer of money damages, my legal autonomy was stripped away and I was given a Guardian Ad Litem just to get the case settled(Really dropped) against my will. I am not and have never been adjudicated as being legally incompetent. I have never been deemed to be unable to handle my own affairs. I was found by a Wake County Judge to have, "Clearly" established a Prima Facie Case of discrimination, but I was robbed of my right to go to trial. I was also harassed by "WCHS" to sign into a new program or risk losing the subsidy. i was not allowed to see what I was signing before signing so I refused. Due to this my utilities were cut off in 90 and above degree weather. I had no air hot water or electric at 61 years of age. We have been suffering with the damages of housing discrimination since, 2014. I want to see these kind of illegalities stopped against the mentally ill. I relinquished the housing assistance in 2016 for if I remained, the wrongful settlement against my will was putting me into the program that "WCHS" refused to allow me to see the rules to before signing. We demand a stop to these type of illegal actions by Wake County Human Services in Raleigh, NC!
