Demand the VA to Change their Harmful Policy!

In Houston, the VA will not prescribe opioids to veterans. The policy was put in place because veterans are dying from opioid overdoses. The problem is that most of the opioids that cause overdoses are not prescribed by physicians. Veterans get opioids off the street and overdose because the VA will not prescribe it to them legally. I want the VA to change their policy and give veterans the pain management they deserve.
