Dear Mel Gibson,
California is in serious trouble. For the first time in two years, California faces the prospect of no right-wing actor without any political experience to run it. For the most populous state in the union, and the sixth largest economy in the world, this is a perilous prospect.
Mel Gibson, we know that you are an actor, a Christian, and that you love Jesus. And that is plenty enough for us to know that you are extremely qualified to run for governor. What would Jesus do? Well, if Jesus was alive today, he would probably jump into the California governor's race if Arnold drops out. We hope that you would do the same.
Please, Mel, save California from disaster. The last thing we need is people with governing experience in charge of the most populous state in the country. Run.
