Thank Your Representative for Working to Save Wolves!
It's brutal. It's unnecessary. And your Representative is fighting to end it as a cosponsor of Congressman George Miller's Protect America's Wildlife (PAW) Act.
Alaska's aerial hunting program has claimed the lives of nearly 700 wolves over the last several years -- wolves that were gunned down from above or chased to exhaustion and killed at point-blank range. Your Representative's support of the PAW Act will help us close the loophole in federal law that Alaska officials have exploited to continue the program ... and help us end aerial hunting of wolves once and for all.

Thank You for Cosponsoring HR 3663
Dear Representative:
As a constituent, I want to thank you for supporting the Protect America's Wildlife Act (HR 3663), federal legislation to end Alaska's aerial wolf hunting program and prevent the spread of similar programs to other states.
As you may know, Alaskans have twice voted to limit aerial hunting. You may also be aware that the program is unnecessary, based on shaky science and effectively circumvents the 1972 Federal Airborne Hunting Act which was passed to outlaw the use of aircraft to hunt wolves and other animals.
But I also want you to know how grateful I am for your leadership on this issue. Wolves are an important part of Alaska's ecology and must be managed carefully, based on sound science -- not gunned down by state-licensed private hunters with little oversight or accountability.
Thank you for your leadership and for taking the time to consider this important issue.
Sincerely,
