Santa Clara County Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program

RE: Possible Loss of County of Santa Clara Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program
I support the Town Cats petition regarding the county of Santa Clara low cost spay/neuter program. Furthermore, I request that the Morgan Hill City Council assist in allocating a small portion of city funds to supplement Santa Clara County resources to continue this countywide low-cost spay/neuter program. The Santa Clara spay/neuter program is important for many reasons. This program not only ultimately reduces costs to Santa Clara County Animal Control, but it is also a humane way to manage animals in our community. I understand that as of today, neither Gilroy nor Morgan Hill have responded to the Santa Clara County's request to contribute (based proportionately on each city's usage) to the Santa Clara spay/neuter program. I ask for your support in responding with a yes to Morgan Hill's participation in this program. Thank you for your kind consideration and immediate response to the county's request.
